Master P, MMA Fighters Team Up to Help Less Fortunate

Master P is in the spirit of giving back this holiday season, linking with Worldwide Gladiators Championship Fights to provide Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate. The hip-hop mogul, WGC and Urban Born are encouraging fans to get involved by donating canned goods and purchasing tickets to the upcoming WGC MMA fight at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, Texas Nov. 12.

Proceeds from the bout will go help feed families in need. WCG VIP celebrities, pro-athletes and entertainers will all be in attendance to support the cause. "So many less fortunate families don't eat regularly on a daily basis and having a hot meal for Thanksgiving would be such a blessing. Our mission is to serve Thanksgiving dinner for thousands of less fortunate family during this Thanksgiving season," WGC president, Sam Viranski said.

Known for his philanthropy, Master P has previously worked with WCG to judge an MMA fight back in April. The proceeds of that event went to help citizens in Haiti displaced following a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake at the beginning of the year.
