As she prepares to release her long-awaited new album 'My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1),' Mary J. Blige has revealed that a follow-up album is already on the horizon.

In an interview with That Grape Juice, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul discussed 'Act 1,' listing the album's top-shelf production lineup, before stating that there would be an 'Act 2,' which she said is intended for a May 2012 release.

"As far as producers, there's Danja, Rodney Jerkins, Jerry Wonda, Eric Hudson, Swizz Beatz ... and this is only 'Act I,' she explained. There's another one coming in May, 'My Life II,' which is Swizz Beatz, of course Rico Love. And Jim Jonsin's on this one, and Drake."

Always candid, Mary J. also revealed that the album's Beyonce collaboration, 'Loving a Woman,' was sent to her by the label, with Beyonce's vocals pre-recorded.

"I didn't get a chance to work with Beyonce in person. She gave the song to me, it had her complete full vocal on it," she explained. "When her people gave it to me, I asked, 'Are you really giving me this record?' They said 'Yes.' I was like, 'OK, what do you want me to do with Beyonce's vocals?' They were like, 'She wants to stay on the record.' That's how I got that record -- she wanted to be on a duet with me."

Mary J. Blige's 'My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1)' is in stores on Nov. 21.
