Marvel Comics Releases More Hip-Hop Variant Covers [PHOTOS]

Rappers are known to throw comic book references into their lyrics and some, like MF DOOM, even use them in their moniker. Marvel Comics continues to bridge the two worlds by releasing more of their Hip-Hop Variant Covers.

Nas' Illmatic gets the Spider-Man treatment as his famous child-like image appears as a young black Miles Morales turning into the superhero.

Drax, a sad but tough fighter from Guardians of the Galaxy, is also another perfect choice for Kid Cudi's melodic underdog soundtrack for Man on the Moon II.

Big Pun's Capital Punishment album is transformed into Spider-Woman while J. Cole's Born Sinner cover features a bold black Nova.

The comic book giant released the first set of covers last month, and now 14 more have been added. Apparently there was set to be least 50 covers, but this new batch brings the total to 35.
