Cash Money is an army, better yet, the navy, and according to recent reports, the Hot Boys ship is back afloat, albeit, minus a few key members of the nucleus.

Veteran producer Mannie Fresh announced that he along with Lil Wayne and Juvenile will be reuniting for an album that is set to be released sometime in 2016. Mannie Fresh broke the news while at the CES convention in Las Vegas.

“It was a long time coming,” he told AllHipHop.com.

Those who are familiar with the Hot Boys have heard rumblings of a reunion dating back to the early aughts, but besides side projects and guest appearances, nothing has come to fruition. But Wayne, Juvie and Mannie decided to scratch a reunion off their bucket list mainly for the sake of the fans more than anything.

“It was more so the fans, the fans demanded this," said Mannie. "To them, it’s iconic. Before it’s all said and done, it’s necessary that ya’ll go back and do this album and show the planet that whatever was going on with us, we could get over that and be brilliant businessmen as well as entrepreneurs, and put some old money on the table and watch the magic happen.”

All three members were last seen together publicly together at the inaugural Lil WeezyAna Fest in August of 2015, when Weezy brought them and Turk out to perform a medley of hits. While we're unsure of why Turk won't be in the fold for this project, what we do know is with these three in the studio together, magic is bound to happen.

So let's hope that the trio will get in the studio soon and complete their Hot Boys reunion album this year.
