Though Rick Ross was a no-show after reports surfaced that he would be marching out Manny Pacquiao during his WBO Welterweight Championship Title Fight on Saturday (May 7), challenger "Sugar" Shane Mosley received a welcome boost from childhood pal LL Cool J, who escorted him out to the tune of his 1990 hit 'Mama Said Knock You Out.'

"I think Shane is going to shock the world tonight," LL told Showtime host James Brown before the fight, also noting that Mosley was rocking a logo for his Platinum 360 Diet & Lifestyle gear. "His attitude is he's humble, but he's really focused and really confident. That's a lethal combination. Because he's focused means he's paying attention. The guy trained really, really hard."

Unfortunately, LL's aggro-anthem did not help Mosley overpower Pacquiao, who walked out to Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' and beat his opponent soundly in a 12-round decision.

"Can't win them all!" LL tweeted at Mosley, after the fight. "Hold your head high!! I'm still riding with you. It was a tough one.. You have to fight through adversity."

It is likely that Rick Ross will align himself with Pacquaio during his long-awaited fight with Floyd Mayweather, who has aligned himself with Ross' rival 50 Cent, whenever that match actually occurs.
