Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will be debuting her new television series on April Fool's Day, and has announced that Queens rapper LL Cool J will be one of her first guests. In addition to LL, the premiere will also features country singer Toby Keith and former General Electric CEO Jack Welch.

The show, 'Real American Stories,' focuses on "real-life tales of overcoming adversity" and will air on the FOX News network. LL is scheduled to appear in a segment entitled 'In Their Own Words,' which will explore the personal life of the Grammy-winning rapper/actor. LL, who has released 12 albums and appeared in twice as many films over the past two decades, currently plays Special Agent Sam Hanna on CBS police drama 'NCIS: Los Angeles.'

Palin first joined FOX News back in January, debuting on Bill O'Reilly's 'The O'Reilly Factor.' The former politician has another series lined up with Discovery Communications as well, which is said to be a documentary about her native Alaska, helmed by 'Survivor' producer Mark Burnett.

'Real American Stories' premiers on FOX News this coming Thursday, April 1 at 10PM EST.
