LL Cool J Launches ‘Rock the Bells Radio’ on SiriusXM [VIDEO]
LL Cool J is ready to rock the airwaves with his new program on SiriusXM. The self-proclaimed G.O.A.T. will launch LL COOL J’s Rock the Bells Radio show on Wednesday (March 28).
Airing on channel 43, the program will showcase wide selection of classic hip-hop content, including music, interviews and viewpoints curated by Uncle L himself. Legendary hip-hoppers Ice Cube, Eric B. & Rakim, Too Short, Run-DMC, Ice-T, OutKast, Public Enemy, De La Soul, Snoop Dogg, Canibus(!!) and more are scheduled to appear on the show.
“If you wanna be a fly on the wall in the world of Classic Hip-Hop, SiriusXM’s Rock the Bells Radio is for you,” said LL in a press release. “It’s where fans can come and be immersed in the music, the culture, the energy and the history of Classic Hip-Hop."
“We’re gonna have great artists, legendary artists, lyricists, superstars, sex symbols," he continued. "This is the place to be if you want uncut, raw, pure, classic Hip-Hop, but there’s one catch—it’s strictly for O.G.’s.”
To celebrate the launch of LL's channel, a special invitation-only roller skating event will take place on Wednesday at World of Wheels in Los Angeles.
For the show's premiere, LL has invited DJ Z-Trip, an award-winning turntablist and LL's touring DJ, to join him.
LL COOL J’s Rock the Bells Radio show will premiere live on SiriusXM at 7PM PT/10PM ET on Channel 43.
