After Martin Shkreli was able to obtain an advance copy of Lil Wayne long-delayed album Tha Carter V, he played a song snippet for his fan on live-stream TV. Of course, Weezy and his team weren’t thrilled about that and apparently confronted Shkreli.

TMZ is reporting that Wayne and his crew tracked down the businessman and had a conversation with him last week. An insider told the media website that Shkreli promised Weezy and his team that there will be no more Carter V leaks coming from him. He also reassured them that he’s the only one that has a copy of the album.

So hopefully this brings some relief to Wayne as he prepares to release a bevy of music projects this year, among them Tha Carter V, Dedication 6 and Funeral.

“We wanna get that Carter V out,” Young Money president Mack Maine told Revolt TV. “Wayne also has a dope project called Velvet. We want to get that out.”

Meanwhile. Birdman promised that Carter V would arrive in stores this year, however, Wayne reportedly has no plans of releasing it until his $51 million lawsuit is settled. Reps for Shkreli had no comment on the matter.
