Lil Wayne's show-stealing performance with Eminem on 'Saturday Night Live' this past weekend left the New Orleans rapper feeling energized and ready to get back to work. Weezy took to his blog following the performance to thank fans and to preview one of the shots from his upcoming Rolling Stone cover feature.

"Hello World & Fellow Martians! I hope you enjoyed my 'Saturday Night Live' performance. I can't describe what it felt like being back in my element," he wrote. "I wanted to share some behind the scenes photos from my Rolling Stone photo shoot. The shoot was in Miami two weeks ago and just being able to do this type of stuff again is therapeutic." With the note, Wayne posted a behind-the-scenes photo, which was snapped by DJ Scoob Doo. The snapshot shows a shirtless Wayne in a photo studio as he poses for the professional lenses. Wayne last appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone (see photo) in February.

Wayne also thanked fans for supporting his latest single, which will appear on his upcoming album, 'Tha Carter IV.' "Thank you for making '6 Foot 7 Foot' #1 on iTunes," he wrote, "you will continue to be #1 in my heart."
