Lil Wayne has again caught up with journalist/talk show host Katie Couric to talk about his life, career, family, and prison time.

Weezy fans likely recall his previous chat with Couric back in 2009 on '60 Minutes,' which featured a ton of revealing information about his teenage years, his thoughts on politics, his latest album (then 'Tha Carter III') and so much more.

And now, some four years later, it's interesting to see what else he can open up about in interviews like this. In these several preview clips—the full piece runs today on Couric's new show 'Katie'—the New Orleans rapper speaks on why he dropped out of school, his children, and what it was like going to prison.

The last of those topics is the briefest but also the most entertaining. Weezy quips that while fellow inmates were excited to see him in their ranks, it's not like it was anything especially great. "It's jail," he says blankly, adding that the reality of situation clicked in after being star-struck for like 20 seconds.
