Lil Wayne is reportedly doing much better following his major health scare yesterday. The rapper's plane had to make an emergency landing after he suffered two seizures mid-air, but a representative for the star told E! News that Weezy is doing fine now.

"We can confirm that he did experience two minor seizures yesterday. Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits," his rep says. "He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers and well wishes."

Wayne was flying from Milwaukee, Wis., to California when his private jet had to make the emergency landing in Nebraska at the Omaha Airport. E! News reported that the Omaha Airport Authority received a medical divert call around 2:36 p.m. local time. An unnamed individual refused treatment when the medical officials arrived, however. The plane departed but returned at 3:56 p.m. where the passenger on board was transported to a local hospital by ambulance after exiting the plane of his own power.

As for what caused this particular episode, some are claiming that Lil Wayne was heavily imbibing "syrup" in the hours before his in flight scare.

TMZ reports that Wayne was drinking "an extraordinary amount of lean" hours before he had the seizures. Witnesses claim that the rapper had five 16 oz bottles of Promethazine/Codeine syrup during a club appearance in Milwaukee over the weekend, with one source claiming Wayne draink three of the bottles by himself.
