Since his release from Rikers Island on Nov. 4, Lil Wayne has kept a relatively low profile, spending his time in the studio and courtside at Miami Heat basketball games. Besides his feature on Birdman's single 'Fire Flame,' Weezy has yet to release brand new music, but in the meantime, his 'I Am Not a Human Being' EP has earned him another gold plaque.

The album landed at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts following its digital release on Sept. 27, and eventually climbed to No. 1 when it was physically released in October. Since then, the album has sold over 500,000 copies and on Nov. 18, it was RIAA certified gold. Wayne's current studio sessions are focused on his upcoming album 'Tha Carter IV.' 2008's 'Tha Carter III' album sold over a million copies its debut week on the charts.

In addition to recording new music, the New Orleans rapper will make his second appearance on NBC's sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, on Dec. 18, alongside Eminem. The two are set to perform the single 'No Love,' from Eminem's 'Recovery' album.
