Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh Reunite on Stage at Bonnaroo

Lil Wayne headlined Bonnaroo music festival Friday night (June 10), and treated fans to a surprise viewing of a once-in-a-lifetime moment in hip-hop history, reuniting on stage with estranged Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh during his performance of the Mannie Fresh-produced 'Go D.J.'

The two artists had not appeared on stage together since Mannie entered into a 2005 feud with his Cash Money Records associates, whose signature sound he helped craft, producing the bulk of their work, including Juvenile's 'Ha' and B.G.'s 'Bling, Bling.'

In an interview before the event, Mannie hinted that something was in the works. "It's a possibility. Like I said, there's no beef. No animosity," Mannie told MTV. "I got a great deal of respect for Wayne. You know, from where he started to where he at right now. He's on top of his game. So it's a possibility [we could reunite]. You never know."

Since Cash Money Records has been charged with failing to pay royalties to five producers who worked on Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter III' perhaps now would be an opportune time for Mannie Fresh to make his re-entrance onto the label's roster. According to the former Big Tymer (with Cash Money CEO Baby), the future of his collaborations with Wayne and co. are in their hands.

"That would be hot," he said. "But, you know, my half, I'm there. We're going to leave the rest of it on him, you know what I'm saying?"
