Keyshia Cole to Release New Mixtape in December

Are surprise mixtape release announcements going to be a new fad? Fans saw one yesterday (Nov. 21) when Busta Rhymes revealed that he and Q-Tip were dropping a mixtape next month. Keyshia Cole is doing the same.

 
This marks the singer's first project since her 'Woman to Woman' album in 2012. Cole has been in the studio with Wale, Trey Songz, French Montana, Future, Sean Kingston and Mike WiLL Made It in the time leading up to this project, according to Rap-Up.com.

The Oakland native also remade J. Cole's 'Power Trip' and Jhene Aiko's performance on Drake's 'From Time' during recording sessions.

The mixtape, which arrives in December, will drop as Keyshia Cole is crafting her sixth studio album, due next year.
