Keshia Knight Pulliam’s Ex, Ed Hartwell, Denies Claims That He Attempted to Sabotage Her Pregnancy
Keshia Knight Pulliam's estranged husband, Ed Hartwell, is refuting claims of emotional abuse and alleged threats of sabotaging her pregnancy.
Pulliam, 37, reportedly filed court documents Wednesday stating Hartwell has been "plotting to harm" their unborn child. In legal documents, Keshia expressed he “has been plotting to harm and obstruct [her] pregnancy” by engaging in “certain underhanded and unusual conduct” that would trigger a miscarriage. Knight who is five months along, says Hartwell engaged in “cruel treatment,” which has adversely affected her pregnancy.
In divorce paperwork filed in a Georgia Superior Court, Hartwell, 38, denied the allegations and said Knight “should be ashamed of herself for ever making such false and offensive allegations." He also denies accusations of infidelity and Keshia’s speculation that he's been "profiting" somehow from the demise of their short marriage.
The Cosby Show alum married Hartwell on January 1, 2016 after dating for four months. Reportedly, after getting hitched, they stopped having sex once the romance soured. Hartwell claims Keshia was so fixated on getting pregnant, he suspects she went behind his back to do it and wants a DNA test. Hartwell, 38, filed for divorce not long after Keshia announced on social media that she was pregnant with their first child.
Marriage and divorces can be messy. We hope these two can settle their differences for the sake of their family.
