Keshia Knight-Pulliam and her husband, Ed Hartwell, are getting a divorce but The Cosby Show star is worried about the impact it'll have on others.

In the second part of her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Knight-Pulliam said that she worries about her nine-year-old stepson, E.J. "This is the hardest part," she said. “I really, really love him."

“He was so excited. Every night he would say, ‘I love you, Keesh Keesh’ — that’s his name for me. And then he’d say to the baby, ‘I love you',” she said. “I hate that he doesn’t have that experience anymore,” she continued. “He deserves to be a big brother.”

Knight-Pulliam claims that this is the last interview she's "not about dragging people through the mud in the media" but she felt her story was an important one to tell.

“By me sharing this story, [if I] can help inspire someone else, or help give them the strength to say, ‘You know what? I deserve better and good riddance, I’m gonna keep moving,'” she said. “I hope that this can do that, because it’s bigger than me. It’s not about me. Many women have been here. Just because this is my today, it doesn’t determine my tomorrow.”

The 37-year-old actress also said that she has "no regrets."

"You learn lessons. I’ve learned a very big lesson, and I’ll take that with me. Forgiveness isn’t for them — it’s for you. Hatred or ill will, you know, it only harms you. So, I absolutely wish him the best. I absolutely hope that he finds whatever it is he’s looking for and needs to be happy, because the happier he is and the more fulfilled he is, the better dad he can be to our girl," she said.

Yesterday (July 28), Hartwell also offered his side of the story in an interview with Page Six. The 38 year-old former baller said that their marriage was torn apart by jealousy, disagreements about starting a family and suspicions about infidelity on both sides.

"She wanted a baby really fast, and what I was trying to explain to her was that — from my beliefs, from seeing other successful people — that when you first get married, especially since we didn’t have a long courtship, that we should actually focus on each other and not just have a baby," he said in the interview. "That’s something she really did want to do.”

He says he alerted Pulliam that he thought their lives were headed in two different directions prior to filing for divorce.

“I said, ‘I think we probably messed up. I think we moved too fast,'” he said in the interview. “‘Our lives and wants are headed two different directions.'”

He also confessed to still having feelings for his ex-girlfriend of four years.

“[Keshia] wasn’t mad that I still cared about her,” Hartwell said. “All she was a mad about was, ‘You don’t want to have a baby, but you’re mad about her baby. You can’t talk to her 13-year-old daughter. And there was a big fall-out.”
