Kelly Rowland Delivers ‘Gone’ With Wiz Khalifa
There's a little more than a week to go until Kelly Rowland's forthcoming album, Talk a Good Game, debuts. Before the effort arrives, the R&B songbird unveils another new song, the Wiz Khalifa-assisted "Gone."
The Harmony-produced breakup track finds Rowland washing her hands of an disloyal lover. He cheated on her but she's the one who's standing strong in the end.
"Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got til it's gone," she sings.
The song samples Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi," the same song Janet Jackson used in her hit single "Got 'Til It's Gone."
Wiz supports the Destiny's Child alumn by telling the dude to keep it moving.
Talk a Good Game, featuring songs like The-Dream-penned "Dirty Laundry," hits shelves June 18.
