Damon Dash, who is currently a hilarious hashtag meme on Twitter, is interested in being a boss behind online streetwear retailer Karmaloop. FADER is reporting that Dame and his good friend, Kanye West, are among several people looking to buy the bankrupted Karmaloop.

The former Roc-A-Fella Records CEO went on Instagram and confirmed the news that he wants to take over the business. Dame posted a video with ‘Ye with the caption, “Generations of real fighters sticking together for the whole world to see...this was always the plan but s--- is real and where not doing any bubble gum s--- and I hope the whole world sees this and wants to do the same thing...stay tuned.”

“Honorable people stick together,” added Dame. “Now he’s super famous and we’re linking up. We decided to go buy Karmaloop. We just talked about it so it’s going to happen.”

There’s no word on how much the purchasing price is for Karmaloop. The online clothing store is reportedly $100 million in debt and filed for bankruptcy last week.

This latest news comes after Dame caused a stir on social media over his comments made during an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. Some fans felt that the former rap mogul was condemning people who worked nine-to-five jobs. However, Dame says that his remarks were misconstrued.

“I was saying if you have a job, you have to pay the bills, but that pays the bills momentarily,” he explained. “So if you have a job, in that moment, you should also be investing in something that you can pass on to your children.”

“I said [to The Breakfast Club hosts], ‘I’m not mad at you for having a job. I’m mad at you for having the same job for 25 years,’” he added.
