Ironically, Jeezy seems to be reinvigorated since dropping the 'Young.' After reorganizing his CTE squad, The Snowman is back with a new solo single, which is the first taste of his newly announced album.

Featuring a formulaic trap beat from Childish Major (of 'U.O.E.N.O.' fame), 'In My Head' is lead by a catchy hook about how Jeezy can't escape "trap s--t" (as in the original definition of "trap," kids) even in his thoughts. You decide whether he's bragging or lamenting about it, thought.

'In My Head' will probably serve as the street-banger-before-the-radio-single in the build-up to that new album, which Jeezy's apparently been working on with Usher, Future and Ludacris. By the sounds of the video above, he'll be talking his ish on it, too: "In language terms, the statue of limitations is over," he said.

Stream 'In My Head' below. You can buy the track on iTunes on Oct. 8.
