From the 2000s to the Roaring Twenties, Jay-Z proves he can handle any decade.

Producer and song-writer, The Bullitts [real name Jeymes Samuel] revealed on Twitter that he and Jay-Z are creating the soundtrack for the upcoming film adaption of the F. Scott Fitzgerald book "The Greaty Gatsby."

"Jay-Z and myself have been working tirelessly on the score for the upcoming #CLASSIC The Great Gatsby," he wrote. "It is too DOPE for words!"

The film is being directed by Baz Luhrmann and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher. It hits theaters May 10.

Jay-Z has been linked to the film before -- he and Kanye West's song "No Church in the Wild" is featured in the trailer and Fisher had previously shared with MTV that the rapper's tunes were a favorite on set.

"On my first day, he [director Luhrmann] had Jay-Z pumped up full and we did the entire scene with Jay-Z in our ear on full blast while acting, and it was just so liberating," she said.
