Jay-Z, Sade and Alicia Keys will provide the entertainment at the seventh annual Black Ball NY charity event, which will take place at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on September 30.

The event is organized by Alicia Keys' Keep a Child Alive organization, which provides support to families across India and Africa who are battling HIV/AIDS. Keys co-founded the organization in 2003, and in the past six years it has generated over $10 million in charity funds.

The mom-to-be issued a statement thanking her fellow performers for lending their support to this year's event. "Sade? Jay-Z? Both icons and both major influences of mine. I am overwhelmed by their generosity in helping us continue the tradition of making the Black Ball the best fundraiser in NYC," Keys said. "There are more surprises coming up! Stay tuned!"

The 2009 Black Ball event in New York City raised over $2 million and honored Senegalese artist Youssou N'Dour, Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson and former President Bill Clinton for their work battling HIV/AIDS and poverty.

Alicia Keys hosted a similar event in London this past May.
