Jay-Z knows talent and his Roc Nation signee Rita Ora is a prime example of his understanding. The rapper, who's been well aware of the U.K. native's vocal talents since bringing her to his label in 2009, shared her abilities stateside when he visited radio station Z100 in New York City Thursday (Feb. 23).

"This was all very spontaneous," Jay-Z said of the visit to Z100. "We just came to see some great friends over here at Z100 in my neighborhood and we knew they would like what they heard cause Rita is amazing. This is what radio is all about -- feeling, emotion and discovering new music and artists and sharing it with a huge audience."

Apparently, Hov showed up with the songstress with no entourage or security in tow. As he and Ora were interviewed, they debuted her new track, 'Party & Bulls---,' a flirty pop number perfect for an all-around good time.

The blonde vixen currently has a No. 1 song in the U.K. -- her DJ Fresh collaboration 'Hot Right Now' has climbed to the top of the charts.
