During the NBA Finals last night, Jay-Z dropped a bombshell announcement upon all of us.

At halftime, Samsung aired a commercial featuring Hov in the studio, hanging out and working with artists such as Pharrell, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, and Rick Rubin. The commercial served as an announcement for Jay's upcoming album, 'Magna Carta Holy Grail.'

Scheduled for a July 7 release in all retailers, the album will be made available for Samsung Galaxy owners in a special deal on July 4. The first one million downloaders of a custom app will be given the new album for free. That is because Samsung has purchased one million copies of Hov's new album for $5 an album.

As a result, Jay-Z has already made $5 million off of 'Magna Carta Holy Grail,' and the album hasn't even hit the stores yet.

The speculation surrounding what Hov will bring to the table for his next album is starting to pick up.
