Jay-Z offered up some advice to the Internet's favorite rapper Drake, warning the young phenom to stay focused. Hov surprised fans in Drake's hometown of Toronto over the weekend hitting the stage with the 22-year-old. So when it comes to advice who better to give it than the hottest MC in the game?

"He just needs to focus," Jay said in an interview. "I think he's proved that he's very talented with that [So Far Gone] mixtape which was phenomenal. He proved that he's very talented and he just has to maintain that focus because right now the odds are on him and not lose that. I think he's [going to] be fine. If he stays focused, he'll be fine."

Drake, who is featured on 'We Off That' off 'The Blueprint 3 Album,' showed his appreciation for his rap idol in an interview. "Jay has been one of the most special people to me in this game," he said. "I don't think I'll ever forget the nights me and Jay had in the studio, and the things he'd tell me and just the way he embraced me. It's one of the best feelings in my life."

Leading up to his debut release 'Thank Me Later,' due in stores early next year, Drake's career is still on fire. His current single 'Forever,' alongside hip-hop heavyweights Eminem, Lil Wanye, and Kanye West peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B charts.
