Jaden Smith Is Leaving His Artwork on the Streets of L.A. for People to Take
Is there a more artsy 18-year-old than Jaden Smith right now?
Just a month after he collaborated with Shia Labeouf on the actor's art instillation to protest Donald Trump's inauguration, he's left two of his art pieces on the streets of Los Angeles for someone to take.
Last week, he gave a piece away in Panorama City, but it's not clear if anyone snagged it or not. "I left a piece at living spaces in Van Nuys," wrote Smith. "I hope you guys enjoy it ... It's actually Panorama City ... Whoever has it take a picture."
No one has snapped a photo of that piece yet, but a man named Kevin Doan took a picture of himself with Jaden's second giveaway, which he left outside of the Halmilton-Selway Fine Art gallery.
As of now, there's no word if there are other artworks lying around town or what the teen's overall goal is. Maybe he's simply trying to promote his art, and all of this will lead to a one-man-show. Who knows?
