Jaden Smith has been making huge strides as a young man with his eccentric style and music. At 19 years old, Jaden has launched his own indie record label, released a new album, SYRE: A Beautiful Confusion, and is the founder of an eco-friendly bottled water company called JUST.

In an interview with Complex, Jaden explains how he maneuvers from the music space to the business world so effortlessly. However, being an "icon living" has its downsides when it comes to his industry friends.

When asked about his friendships with Drake, Kanye West and Donald Glover and how they influenced his own art, Jaden revealed that he feels ostracized from his peers now that he's standing shoulder to shoulder with them in the music game.

"It’s really changed. I always felt like Little Homie before and that allowed me in all of their circles," he explained. "But now that I’m on the charts next to them, I’m not really Little Homie anymore."

"It’s more like, 'You can’t hang out with us anymore. We didn’t know you were making an album this whole time. We thought you were just Little Homie giving us free water and shit. You’re not really cool with us anymore,'" he continued.

Elsewhere in the interview, Jaden talks about his fashion style and his interest in being an eco-entrepreneur with JUST. He is currently looking for young designers and creatives who want to change the world globally.

"Align yourself with us. DM us, contact us in any type of way. We’re always looking for young designers and youthful people to help us with the mission," he said. "We also challenge young people to design furniture made out of recycled plastic. If you can do something dope out of plastic let us know."
