Chances are, if you engage on social media at all, you came across a conversation—or heated debate—about Issa Rae's breakout HBO hit Insecure.

The show delved into the ins and outs of a 20-something relationship between one flawed couple and their equally flawed friends, and emerged one of the most talked about series on television. While people chose sides—#TeamIssa or #TeamLawrence— and discussed and argued over the dynamic finale, Rae now has the opportunity to relish another win, as she was just nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

The writer/director/actress was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical Series, making it her first nomination. Of course, one of the draws of the show is its incorporation of hip-hop, which is sprinkled throughout the series, most notably in the fact that the show features a Drake reference in each episode, as Rae is a huge fan of the rapper. If you're interested in checking out all of Insecure's Drake references, Word On Road has compiled them all, and you can check them out here.

In other good news for Rae, it was announced that Insecure was picked up for a second season.
