Gwyneth Paltrow to Perform Cee Lo’s ‘F— You’ on ‘Glee’
Though initially criticized for being too obscene for the mainstream, Cee Lo Green's catchy song 'F--- You' has rocketed the Gnarls Barkley frontman back into the public's heart, spawning several remixes, a kid-friendly clean version, and even inspiring Hollywood stars to perform the song on national television.
Having recently been performed on 'Lopez Tonight' by William Shatner, the next actor to take a crack at Cee Lo's "vulgar" summer hit is Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow, who is scheduled to sing the edited version, 'Forget You,' on Fox's 'Glee,' airing Nov. 16.
The 38-year-old actress will be portraying a substitute teacher on the popular show. "Gwyneth is a great singer," 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy said. "She's done it a little bit, but I really want to show it off and show everyone how great she is."
Meanwhile, Cee Lo's highly anticipated third album, 'The Lady Killer,' is scheduled to hit shelves Nov. 9.
