It's not looking good for Troy Ave. The gun used in the shooting at Irving Plaza last week was found in a hidden compartment the minivan that brought Ave to the hospital.

According to the New York Daily News, the Kel Tech .9-mm pistol found matches six bullets that were found at the scene, including the one that killed his bodyguard Ronald "Banga" McPhatter and injured Ave.

However, the gun did not match the bullet that shot Maggie Heckstall, Maino's girlfriend.

The Brooklyn rhymer was charged with attempted murder after video surveillance showed him holding a gun while backstage during the shooting at Irving Plaza. But the 33-year-old claims that he's innocent and pled not guilty on the grounds that he acted in self-defense against a second shooter.

Fellow rappers Meek Mill and 50 Cent have sent their support of Ave via social media.

Ave's lawyer, Scott Leemon, is also making a plea to the public to help with the case. “We’re going to ask anyone who was there, anyone who has any information or anyone who knows someone who was in that VIP room that night — we have set up a special e-mail address,” said Leemon to Fox 5. “We know some people have problems talking to and working with NYPD - help us. Help me defend Troy.” Leemon asks for the public to send any information they may have to TroyAveInfo@LeemonLaw.com.

If DNA evidence matches Troy Ave to the gun, his charges may be upped to murder.
