George Zimmerman Threatens JAY-Z Over Trayvon Martin Documentary
George Zimmerman is reportedly angry at JAY-Z over his Trayvon Martin documentary and has threatened the Roc Nation mogul with bodily harm.
Earlier this year, JAY-Z announced that he’s producing a six-part documentary in conjunction with the Weinstein Company about Martin’s life called Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. The project will chronicle the life of Martin, the shooting by George Zimmerman in 2012, and his eventual acquittal.
Although Harvey Weinstein is no longer attached to the documentary -- for obvious reasons -- the movie is still in production with Michael Gasparro on board as an executive producer.
In an interview with The Blast, Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin’s killer, is upset because Gasparro and his production company are allegedly harassing his parents and other family members in the Florida area for an interview.
Zimmerman has accused the Gasparro and his production company of paying off his ex-wife for an interview. He then threatened to beat up JAY-Z and Gasparro.
“I know how to handle people who fuck with me, I have since February 2012," he reportedly said, which is reference to the shooting of 17-year-old Martin.
"Anyone who fucks with my parents will be fed to an alligator,” he added.
We are still wondering why Zimmerman is not in prison right now, but making credible threats to Hov and Gasparro will certainly put him in jail. We are just saying.
There's no word if the Trayvon Martin documentary will ever air considering the scandal with Harvey Weinstein has damaged the company's reputation.
Reps for both JAY-Z and Michael Gasparro had no comment on the matter.
