Future’s Self-Titled Album Expected to Debut At No. 1

It looks like Future's brief hiatus from the spotlight is about to be all worth it.

The Atlanta rapper creeped back into the limelight this past week after he surprised fans with the announcement of his self-titled album, which was released officially on Friday. Now, his hard work is about to pay off as "industry forecasters" are reporting that the project is set to debut at no. 1 on the Billboard charts by the end of the week.

Reports say that Future is slated to move around 150,000 equivalent units in the album's first week, along with 50-60,000 traditional sales. This would be the fourth consecutive no. 1 debut in two years for the rapper, which would follow in the footsteps of Dirty Sprite 2, What a Time, and Evol.

The "March Madness" hitmaker also hinted that he is releasing another album this coming week, with fans confirming the news this morning after finding the pre-sale link for HNDRXX on iTunes. The upcoming album is set to have 17 tracks, and will be released this Friday, February 24.

Future tweeted about the news stating, "Told YALL,I got a fully loaded clip...thought I was bluffing."
