For the first time, the Future Hive put their favorite rapper at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

Future's third studio album, DS2, sold 147,000 albums in its first week, dethroning Tyrese's Black Rose LP. After pushing him to his rightful place, the rapper expressed his appreciation for his fans on Twitter. "The best fans on da mufuckin planet...y'all make everything all worth it #DS2," he wrote.

DS2, which is a follow-up to his 2011 mixtape, Dirty Sprite, sold more than double the amount of his last album, Honest, which only brought in 53,000 copies in its first week.

The "Blow a Bag" rhymer also topped Taylor Swift's 1989 and Meek Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money on the chart.

L.A. Reid, Chairman and CEO of Epic Records, praised the Atlanta native for his accomplishment. “I am so proud of Future and this incredible #1 debut,” he said. “Future is one of the most visionary artists I’ve ever worked with and his inspired imagination and true fan engagement made this the year’s much-publicized and preeminent hip-hop debut.”

While his project is currently at the top, he's keeping the momentum going. Future is also featured on Freebandz rapper Zona Man's track "Mean to Me" alongside Lil Durk, which appears on the No Advance mixtape.
