The inductees for the 2013 New York Broadcasters Hall of Fame have been announced and Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex is part of the class.

New York City's most well-known DJ has worked on radio station Hot 97 since the '90s. Flex's influence extends far beyond his competency as a DJ. He's one of hip-hop's most respected personalities. Whether it's because of his loud, brash manner of speech or those signature Flex bombs he drops while premiering songs on the radio, the famed record spinner has been a household name for years and may continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Another accomplishment for Funkmaster Flex in 2013 was the release of the 55-track mixtape 'Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself?' which dropped in April and was his first project in eight years.
