Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, gave some big props to Lil Wayne and Jay-Z in an interview with MTV's Mixtape Daily. The Olympic gold medalist from Jamaica recently captivated the athletic world by lowering his own 100 and 200-meter world records at the 2009 World Championships. No stranger to dominance, Bolt rates Weezy F. Baby and Hov as the hottest MCs with any potential third contender too far behind to name.

"When I was in the Olympics, I didn't really listen to music," says Bolt. "During the Olympics, it was mainly reggae, a little hip-hop. But I like Lil wayne, Jay-Z, those guys. That's who we listen to in Jamaica."

He rated Lil Wayne as the top MC overall because, well, he's "hot" and "sings the right tunes." Bolt continues, "I'm seriously listening to all his songs right now. Really sitting down, listening to his lyrics and he's got his lyrics [down] pat now. He's got his lyrics. He's coming up like Jay-Z. He's smooth."

Bolt, interviewed while relaxing in New York City, said he intends to get more into mixtapes and discovering new rap artists. He also gave a shout out to Vybz Kartel and Beenie Man, two Reggae artists that make the champion want to hit the track.
