Eve's season is upon us. With Barbershop: The Next Cut slated to hit theaters next week, the Philly rapper is also hinting at new music to come. She tweeted an update for her fans.

"I always try to give you all the same support and love that you’ve given me throughout the years!! Appreciate you! Thank you! New music soon,” she tweeted.

It's been three years since Eve dropped Lip Lock, which included features from Missy Elliott and Snoop Dogg. Unfortunately, it didn't gain as much traction as her previous albums Eve-Olution and Scorpion, which included hits like "Gangsta Lovin'" and "Let Me Blow Ya Mind."

But as fans wait for new tunes from the 37-year-old, she is out promoting the fourth installment of the Barbershop series. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Eve spoke about her love for her Barbershop co-star Nicki Minaj.

“You’ll definitely see what you love of Nicki in her character,” she said of Minaj’s portrayal of the character, Draya. “We were friendly. Honestly, it was nice to get to know her and see her outside of music. She’s definitely holding the flag [for female rappers]. I wish there were more.”

Barbershop: The Next Cut, which also stars Cedric the Entertainer, Regina Hall, Common, Anthony Anderson and Ice Cube, hits theaters on April 15.
