R&B songbird Erykah Badu has been tapped to host the 2015 Soul Train Awards. In addition, fellow siren Jill Scott and singer-songwriter Babyface will also be honored with two very prestigious awards.

Badu is no stranger to the Soul Train Awards, having won three trophies herself in the late '90s and performed onstage back in 2010. At this year's ceremony, the "On and On" singer will help salute today's brightest stars and R&B legends.

Speaking of which, Scott will receive the first-ever Lady of Soul Award for her indelible career in music and entertainment. The Soul Train Awards will also honor Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds with the coveted Legend Award for his venerable music career both as a soloist and songwriter.

As we previously reported, the Weeknd, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson are the leading nominees with five nominations apiece. Beyonce, Chris Brown, Jidenna and Tyrese follow with four mentions each.

The 2015 Soul Train Awards will be taped on Nov. 6 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for a broadcast premiere on Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET on Centric.
