NBC has announced that Young Money rapper Drake will be appearing on 'Saturday Night Live' on Oct. 15.

Less than two weeks before the release of Drake's highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Take Care,' which drops on Oct. 24, Drake will take the stage as SNL's musical guest, alongside host Anna Faris.

While it is not yet known whether he will be acting in a sketch, the 'Marvin's Room' rapper's 'SNL' appearance will be his first, on the heels of much-hyped performances by fellow Young Money rappers Nicki Minaj, who made headlines with her scene-stealing turn as a geek stalker, and Lil Wayne's joint performance with Eminem back in December.

Drake recently posted his forthcoming album's artwork on his blog, along with a personal note to fans. "Feels like it's been so long," he wrote. "Are we just used to getting what we want right away? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24 ... I wouldn't miss it for the world."
