Drake Reveals Winnie the Pooh Influence on New Album — Say What!
While Drake's influences were decidedly more hip-hop and R&B on his debut, he recently revealed that his current inspiration is none other than Winnie the Pooh. "I bought the first-ever 'Winnie the Pooh' books, like all four 'Winnie the Pooh' books...It cost me a lot of pounds, man. I probably could have bought a small car for that," he explained, after a recent trip to the UK. "They were a huge part of my childhood. Winnie the Pooh is like super not hip-hop...That's my influence, man, Winnie the Pooh on this next album." Great. [Rap-Up]
Kanye West may be a lot of things, but apparently he is not the owner of a watch with his face on it. Though it was widely reported that he had purchased a $180,000 timepiece decorated with a diamond-studded portrait of his face, 'Ye hit Twitter refute the rumors. "There's a new lie everyday...a new media spin," he tweeted. "I never got a watch with my face on it!!! A company tried to give that to me 9 yrs ago!" Sure they did. [@KanyeWest]
