Drake's career isn't the only thing flying high, soon he'll be taking to the skies to commemorate Virgin America's flights to Canada. The California based airline is teaming with the 23-year-old to kick-off "Air Drake" -- the official launch of flights from California to Drizzy's hometown of Toronto.

Virgin America Founder and President Sir Richard Bronson and Drake fans, who won tickets to the flight, will also join the hip-hop superstar. While flying on the Airbus A320, passengers will be treated to a mile-high soiree to include music, cocktails and a toast of the new service with Mumm bubbly from California's Napa Valley. Once the flight touches down, Drake will be greeted on the tarmac by a special international welcoming committee, followed by a red carpet reception.

Founded in 2007, Virgin America is one of the fastest growing U.S. start-up airlines of all time. Aside from attractive fairs, the airline offers innovative features aimed at reinventing the travel experience. New aircrafts feature in-flight entertainment systems and power outlets near every seat. Virgin America was named Best Domestic Airline in the Conde Nast Traveler in 2008, the 2009 Readers' World's Best Awards and Best Low-Cost Airline in North America in 2010 by the World Airline Awards.
