Drake made a surprise appearance at SBTRKT's show in Toronto on Friday (July 8), treating the small crowd to his remix of U.K. electronica producer's single 'Wildfire,' which also features Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon.

Taking the stage at T.O. venue Wrongbar -- perhaps the most intimate setting the Young Money star's performed at in years -- Drake started his performance with a salute to the energetic crowd.

"Toronto, what's goin' on?" he asked, before modestly deferring the audience's attentions to SBTRKT, who tweaked samplers behind his drum set, wearing his signature tribal mask, alongside similarly costumed collaborator Sampha on keys. "Greatest city in the world, makes some noise for SBTRKT one time!"

SBTRKT then launched into the beat of his mesmerizing single, while Drake accompanied adeptly with a rapid-fire, double-time flow.

Handing out handshakes after his verse -- while Yukimi's vocals pervaded the room -- Drake urged the crowd once again to cheer for the U.K. producer. "I just want you to make some noise for one of the best acts I've ever seen do it, man, please," Drake said, humbly. "And just know that no matter what happens, no matter how big this s--- gets man, I always do this s--- for Toronto. OVOXO."

Drake's sophomore album 'Take Care' is in stores on October 24.
