Drake is currently in H-Town this weekend to present his third installment of Houston Appreciation Week (HAW). The three-day event is the rap superstar’s toast to the city that he calls his second home. The festivities, which are open to the public, run from July 20 through July 23.

The event kicks off on Thursday (July 20) with a Charity BBQ party followed by a “Welcome to HAW” private party. Then on Friday (July 21), there’s a hookah party at Prospect Park in the afternoon. At night, Lil Wayne will host “The Ballet Pop Up” event at Mercy Nightclub from 10PM to 2AM.

On Saturday (July 22), OVO artist Roy Woods is hosting an OVO Pool Party in the afternoon. At night, there’s a “House of Tings” party hosted by Baka & Preme and Tings. Finally, on Sunday night (July 23), Drake is hosting a special event at Spire club.

Drake launched Houston Appreciation Week in 2014 because he credits Houston with launching his career - specifically on May 8, 2009, where he performed at Warehouse Live, which he details on the Nothing Was the Same track, "Too Much."
