Toronto received a wild surprise last night when the ailing Drake, a hometown hero, returned to the stage and got about as live as one could get on a stool. After his YouTube-sensation-of-a-fall on July 31, we expected a quiet period from the Canadian rapper/crooner/actor, but Drake knows that you gotta give the people a lil' somethin' in order to maintain a feverish level of hype.

Entering and leaving with a cane, Drake took to his wooden throne and praised Lil Wayne as "the greatest entertainer I've ever witnessed." The two stars, along with Trey Songz, also ran through a quick three-song set that included 'Best I Ever Had,' 'Successful' and 'Every Girl.' Drake seemed in good spirits, yet he should probably rest up for a minute. Pleasing the fans is one thing, but you don't need to kill yourself out there.
