Once upon a time, back in 2012,  after releasing the sleek track "Enough Said" featuring Aaliyah, Drake said that he was planning to drop a full-length posthumous Aaliyah album. Drizzy reportedly said he'd received permission but months later, the family denied any involvement in the project and it was ultimately called off.

However, today Drake has dropped a new single, "Talk Is Cheap," assumedly from the shelved project and now appearing on his More Life playlist, which is due out sometime this month. There's no official word about whether or not the full-length Aaliyah project is actually back in play, but the song does feature never before heard vocals from Aaliyah and under-appreciated producer/songwriter Static Major (of the group Playa) who sadly passed away in 2008.

At any rate, take a listen to the smooth new track above.
