Drake Causes ‘Mini Riot’ at Howard University Event, Makes Surprising Claim
Drake can't seem to resist the urge to create controversy and draw attention to himself. Whether he's getting into a bar brawl with Chris Brown or joining Aaliyah on posthumous tracks, the Canadian rapper is never far from the spotlight.
His latest media blast was a social media brag about the fact that he finally acquired the high school equivalent GED certificate at the ripe young age of 25 years old. Obviously, the reason the rapper didn't graduate high school because he was too busy starring in Canada's hit TV show "Degrassi: The Next Generation."
However, a new rumor has surfaced about Aubrey Graham, and his plans to continue on in his educational pursuits. At Howard University's International Yardfest on Friday (Oct. 19), Drake was one of a number of surprise acts that headliner 2 Chainz brought out to guest with him.
According to reports, Drake's appearance caused a "mini riot," leaving several students with minor injuries.
