Donald Sterling Makes Even More Racist Remarks on ‘Anderson Cooper 360′ [VIDEO]
Just when you thought Donald Sterling couldn't be more of a disgrace to humanity, the shamed Clippers owner (who has since been banned for life from the NBA) appeared on CNN's 'Anderson Cooper 360' last night and spewed even more racist remarks.
While the interview began with Sterling claiming he isn't a racist and croaking out a miserable excuse for an apology for his disgusting comments in the leaked TMZ tape, the old fart couldn't help but to launch another attack on African-Americans -- specifically his old pal Magic Johnson -- for being stingy.
"Big Magic Johnson, what has he done?" Sterling asked Cooper rhetorically. "He's got AIDS. Does he help anybody in South L.A.? What kind of a guy goes to every city and has sex with every girl and catches HIV, is that someone we want to respect and tell our kids about? I think he should be ashamed and go into the background. But what does he do for the black people? He doesn’t do anything."
He continued, "Jews, when they get successful, they will help their people. And some of the African-Americans -- maybe I'll get in trouble again -- they don't want to help anybody. What has Magic Johnson really done for Children's Hospital which kids are lying in the hallways. They are sick. They need a bed. What has he done for any hospital? What has he done for any group?"
Aside from getting his facts terribly wrong, as Anderson Cooper points out, Donald Sterling shamelessly attempts to spin himself as the victim, deludedly believes that it's just the media who hates him and persistently claims that he isn't a racist. The only thing more shocking than this man's views is his complete lack of self-awareness.
