Destiny’s Child ‘Playlist’ Album: 14 Songs Included on New Release
Destiny's Child is one of the top three biggest selling girl groups ever, with sales of albums and singles topping 60 million. They've scored two Grammy Awards as a unit, cementing their place in musical history. Alongside TLC and the Spice Girls, DC helped usher in an era of girl-fronted pop groups, laying the foundation for many women undertaking similar careers today.
To commemorate their career chart-topping singles, Music World/Columbia/Legacy Recordings will release a compilation album featuring Destiny's Childs No. 1 hits and several other tracks. Titled Playlist, the effort marks their first U.S. release in seven years.
The LP is set to include all five of the group's Billboard No. 1 pop and R&B singles, along with other songs like "Jumpin' Jumpin'," "Survivor", "Bug A Boo" and "Bills, Bills, Bills."
The tracks are drawn from all four Destiny's Child albums, offering a great overview of their cumulative career. Check out the tracklist below and look for the compilation Oct. 9.
