Dej Loaf Performs ‘Back Up,’ Brings Out Kid Ink for ‘Be Real’ at 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards [VIDEO]
Dej Loaf wants dudes to recognize their clingy behavior with her performance of "Back Up" at the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards Tuesday (Oct. 13).
"If I f--- and make you c--, you got to promise not to stress me / Don't be blowin' up my phone and don't be leavin' voice messages," she rhymes as she enters the stage in a burgundy jacket, baggy black pants, a black bandeau top and her hater blockers.
Backed by male dancers, the 24-year-old struts around stage as she spits her bars, which had everyone including Snoop Dogg jamming out.
Once she was finished with the track from her #AndSeeThatsTheThing EP, the Detroit native brought out a shirtless Kid Ink to perform his song, "Be Real," in which she provides supporting vocals. "Let's just be honest, let's just be real," she sings.
DJ Mustard was also onstage to provide some assistance on the mic and behind the 1s and 2s. A fitting spot since he produced the track.
At the end, the rapper relayed her song to the network and audience: "Let's just be real, BET."
