Dave Chappelle fans, get ready to rejoice—your favorite comedian is about to light up the stage at Saturday Night Live for the first time ever.

Chappelle will make his hosting debut on Nov. 12, which good because depending on how thing go this coming election Tuesday, we may need a good laugh to keep from crying. And get this: A Tribe Called Quest will be the musical guests. It doesn't get much better than that, folks.

Of course, hip-hop has been going crazy in anticipation of Tribe's forthcoming, final album, We Got It From Here… Thank You For Your Service which releases on Nov. 11, the day before their performance on SNL.

As for Chappelle, after abruptly leaving his wildly popular Comedy Central series, Chappelle's Show, to maintain his artistic vision and sanity, the talented comedian hasn't made a ton of appearances, though he did do a 10 night performance at Radio City Music Hall back in June 2014, and recently appeared in Spike Lee's Chi-Raq.

Chappelle in ATCQ will appear on SNL on Nov. 14.
