Queensbridge rapper Cormega cleared the air recently regarding a statement he made, which appeared to be targeting Drake. "I like Drake," Cormega said. "What the [website] did was, they took a clip from his song and stated that when I made the statement about 'rappers need to stop fronting in their lyrics,' [they] said it was about him." He continued to explain that, while he may not approve of "gangsta rich kids," he has no problem with them rapping. "I'm not saying that rich kids can't rap, I'm just saying that if you grew up rich and on TV, you shouldn't be talking about the ills of the street." Nah nah, you saying Rich Hil(figer) ain't gangsta? [HipHopWired]

50 Cent got some unlikely inspiration for his new. "It's still got a soulful vibe to it and that's why I called it 'Black Magic,'" 50 said. "I had some Marvin Gaye-inspired stuff, some things that content-wise would feel like something Curtis Mayfield would do from my perspective, and just the choices of how the cadences on the records were like performance music that they did in the past. It feels brand new." We've been waiting for 50's Marvin Gaye impression for a while now, so this should be good. [RapRadar]

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, the dude who plays BA Baracus in the new 'The A-Team' movie, is too hard to be an actor. "Acting is kind of gay. It makes you soft. You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you're cold. I don't want a coat over my shoulders! I'm a tough-ass [individual]!" Yeah, let's see your what your contract demands in 2 years, actor. [LATimes]
