Over the weekend, Coolio was arrested for having a loaded firearm in his carry-on bag at Los Angeles International. Hours after his arrest, the rap vet, who was released on a reported $37,808 bail, addressed the incident in a video message.

In the clip, Coolio is enjoying dinner at PF Chang’s restaurant and talks casually about his arrest. “Just wanted to say something about the little misunderstanding at the airport today, Everything’s fine, I’m fine,” he said. “I don’t know what’s going to be the result of this in the future but for now, I’m fine and I appreciate everyone’s concern.”

The 53-year-old rapper added that his arrest won't slow down his touring schedule. “We gotta go on and we gotta push on and try to forward hip-hop," he said.

Coolio, along with his bodyguard, was charged with possession of a stolen loaded firearm. TSA reportedly discovered a loaded 9MM handgun in his carry-on bag.

This is not the first time the "Gangsta's Paradise" rapper had a run-in with the law at LAX. He was arrested at the airport in March 2009 after drugs were allegedly found in his carry-on bag while he was going through TSA.

A lawyer for Coolio had no comment on his latest arrest.
